Face à un adversaire qui évolue dans le groupe de son équipe 2, le FC Morschwiller entre bien dans la rencontre et ouvre le score par son capitaine Jocelyn Blanco en deux temps. Puis sur un centre côté droit de Younes Kara, Régis Scholler double la mise sur un ciseau acrobatique. Et sur le coup d’envoi qui suit, Raphaël Werner presse efficacement la défense pour marquer à son tour. Jocelyn Blanco, sur un nouveau centre de Younes Kara, et Régis Scholler, bien servi par Hugues Favier, signeront leur doublé tandis que Pierre Zanon doit tout de même s’employer juste avant la pause sur une tentative adverse.

Les Verts sont un peu plus brouillons dans cette seconde période mais inscrivent trois nouveaux buts par Sofiane Afiri sur penalty et deux nouveaux buts de Jocelyn Blanco. Sur le coup d’envoi qui suit ce huitième but, Wittersdorf sauvera l’honneur en marquant directement dans le but de Pierre Zanon, trop avancé. Régis Scholler parachèvera le succès des Verts sur un nouveau service de Younes Kara.
